First Tee is a youth development organization that teaches kids valuable life lessons like respect, perseverance, and positive self-identity through the game of golf. We work predominantly with low-income students, many of whom have never been on a golf course before. We aspire to provide them with a safe space to be themselves, to be supported by adult role models, and to find joy in trying something new. We partner with the Boys and Girls Club, LAUP, I AM Academy, and other community groups inspiring kids.
Funds raised go directly to providing free programming to our low-income students, as we try to break down all barriers to get them on the golf course. We are always looking for mentors who have a heart for kids and want to see them succeed. Golf knowledge isn't a requirement to get involved, just a passion for building meaningful relationships with the youth in our community. We run programming year-round, so there's always an opportunity to get plugged in. Check out our website, scan the QR Code, or contactJeffKeyser (231-350-0842) for more information.
